Packing the Trike

Every time we move onto another destination we have to re-pack the trike and we do it in a uniform way. This is our packing process...

We have, what I call a tote bag which fits on the carrier. It contains all of our items for immediate use for when we arrive, toiletries, electrics (charging), music cube, glasses cases, washing pods and night clothes:

We pack toiletries in lablelled zipped packs:

Which slot into the tote bag quite well:

We have 2 other large bags, one each for the tour pack and the boot. These contain the rest of our clothing:

Then we "deliver" all of this to the trike:

We then load the trike, the boot first:

Followed by the tour pack:

Last of all we load the tote bag. Firstly a security coded luggage strap is threaded under the carrier:

If you thread it through after the bag is on the carrier, the paintwork becommes damaged. The luggage strap is threaded throuth the bag's handles for additional secrity:

There are 4 clips on the bag which secures it to the carrier:

That's all of the luggage loaded.

The final step is to cover the bag with its rain cover, we use this as additional security as "if you can't see it you don't touch it," at least we hope that is true.

This is a 20 minute plan of work every time we move on.
