Day 23 Munich to Immenstadt

Via Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We left Munich with little traffic and we travelled 132 miles today a lot of which was through Austia and through the edge of the Alps. The views were stunning, this has been the best ride so far.

We stopped in Garmisch- Partenkirchen for lunch, a quaint small Bavarian town set in the middle of the Alps. Here are a few photos:

We continued our journey and arrived at our hotel in Immenstadt at about 1500h, this is the view from our balcony overlooking the lake:

This is he largest natural lake in the district.

After changing our clothes and having a cold beer on our balcony we walked down to the lake:

...and drank cold wine...🍸🍹🍺🍻mmmmmmmmm. It was all down hill to walk to the lake but an "uphill struggle" to return for our evening meal in the hotel 😛🥵😅. The restaurant overlooked the lake and had a limited menu but the food was very nice. Sand had the mushroom risotto and I had a Chef's burger:

The internet at the hotel was disgustingly poor, that's why it has taken longer to do this post.
