We were woken this morning by a thunder storm, the view of the lake had virtually dissappeard and it was raining heavily 😣:
By the time we left, the rain had stopped but the roads were wet so we togged up to be safe and dry. Our journey today was only 76 miles, we travelled from Germany to Bergenz in Austria for lunch. It was dry and sunny there so we disrobed and had a light lunch, it started to rain as we paid our bill. We togged up again, and continued through Austria, crossed the border into Switzerland and then back into Germany we approach Constance AND into chaotic traffic !!!!! We had all of our gear on and started to melt in the sunshine. We finally checked into our hotel at 1510h, a cold beer (or 2) was on the agenda.
After we checked in and unpacked it started to rain, as the internet connection is perfect here, we completed yesterday's post and started today's.
We walked into the harbour and had a drink of wine in a fish bar before our evening meal. We saw a Zepplin type aircraft flying over, I've never seen one at all:
Sand had a problem with crabs....:
There was a "posh" restaurant in the harbour, that's where we ate. The food was delightful, I had a paprika soup to start and we both had the same; a chicken, noodles and mushroom dish for our main course, Sand had a small portion, I had a normal portion, there wasn't too much difference:
It's a washing day tomorrow so that's 1st on the list...
