We are actually staying in Allmannsdorf which is a suburb of Constance and a very short walk to one of the harbours. Today was a washing day with the laundry being just over 2 miles away. We rode there but there were roadworks so we had to take a long detour and on the way back the firebrigade closed one of the roads, so, another long detour, but the washing only took 2 hours and that included the riding and Sand packing the clothes ready for travelling. I didn't think that was too bad, time wise.

We then walked to the harbour and took the 15 minute ferry ride to Meersberg which is reported to be in the top 10 most picturesque towns in Germany.

It certainly was...

By the time we arrived it was time for lunch, we found an Italian type restaurant Sand had tagliatelle and I had spaghetti:

Here are a few photos of Meersberg:

The town was built on a hill and has steep paths and steps, we explored a large part of the town taking quite a few refreshment breaks 😁😉.

...and as you can see, they give "proper" measures 😅😁.
