Today we took the bus into the old town of Constance and had a great late morning/early afternoon exploring. As part of the hotel package we had bus tickets for all local busses, it was good to see a different side of the city as we rode in on the bus. As we said, the old town was worth exploring, on a Suday, Germany "closes," all shops are closed and there is no traffic๐Ÿ˜„, that's why we had such a good time. We had a light lunch which went a bit wrong, I ordered 2 bagles and 2 glasses of wine and only one bagle was delivered, never mind it was an excuse for me to have an ice cream... ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿคฉ

The old town of Constance was really good, here are some photos:

Instead of going back by bus we took the ferry from the old town to Meersberg which was a longer ride than before:

We had another walk around the town with refreshment stops before taking the ferry back to Allmannsdorf where we are staying. We had a lovely evening meal in a restaurant recommended by our hotel which overlooks the lake:

I started with a tomato soup and we both ate the same main meal, rump steak, peppercorn sauce and fries. The steak was 1st class mmmmmmmmmm:

This photo doesn't do the meal justice... the steak was so tender and delightful.

Tommorrow we ride off to Freudenstadt.
